Quick search
To do a simple search it is best to use the search box on the virtual catalogue
home page. This will search across the title and description fields of all
records in the database. Where more than one term is entered, the default is an
AND search. For more information on manipulating this search, please read ‘What
are acceptable searches?’
Advanced search
The advanced search allows you to search on the following specific database
fields:
AnyText (All text Fields)
RefNo
Level
Title
Description
Date
By default the search will conduct an AND search on the word or words you
have entered. You can change the default criteria by clicking Refine Search
Criteria. There are three ways of refining the search option:
- With all the words
- With at least one of the words
- Without the words
